Modernisation of the gravel preperation plant for Carrière de Sous-Vent
The Carrière de Sous-Vent has been in operation since 1857. It produces more than 100,000 tonnes of gravel per year. The quality of the gravel is constantly monitored. The site is used with care and absolute respect for the environment and provides high quality materials.
In June 2022, we were commissioned to modernise the gravel preparation plant. At present, the old gravel pit has been partially dismantled. The old conveyors and sieving machines are being removed from the building. By the end of the year, the new steel structure and machinery will be installed, as well as a new impact crusher, the conveyor technology and the dust removal system.
After the transformation of the plant, productivity will be maximised and environmental efficiency increased. This will bring the plant up to the state of the art in terms of safety and operation.
