Handing Over Management on 1 June 2022

Dear friends, partners and suppliers,

This year Frei Fördertechnik AG is celebrating its 55-year anniversary. Founded in 1967 by our father Ernst Frei, we have developed ourselves into an innovative specialist in the area of plant construction and conveyor technology with 130 employees. This is thanks to the good and cooperation with you over many years.

After an intense and fulfilling 26 years as the owner and managing director, our family company is making an important step towards the future. On 1 June 2022, I will be handing over the management to my long-term employees Jan Blatter and Patrick Zimmermann. In my remaining function as a member of the Board of Directors, I will continue to support my successors in project acquisition and special projects. The handover of operational management will give the company the opportunity to approach its strategic focus with the necessary vigour in order to remain your agile and innovative partner in the future.

With Jan Blatter and Patrick Zimmermann, I have been able to win two extremely competent and experienced companions to succeed me. This makes me and the Board of Directors very happy! They both play a significant role in the success and development of today’s Frei Fördertechnik AG. Together as joint managing directors, they will take charge of the company's fortunes.

Jan Blatter will responsible for Project Sales and Field Service, Patrick Zimmermann will be responsible for Finance and Human Resources. I am convinced that together with the existing team on the Management Board, Fritz Rothenbühler, Andreas Lauber, Marc Geissbühler and Michael Hangartner, they will lead the company into the future with motivation and innovation.
