Eisberg AG processes fruit and vegetables. The conveyor system stores the delivered products on an intermediate basis and then distributes them to the work stations.

Project
As a general contractor, Frei Fördertechnik AG implemented the contract from planning to design and manufacturing through to installation and commissioning, including control technology. The conversion took place in tandem with the building refurbishment and dismantling of the old system. The daily business of the client was hardly affected. A lift and a shuttle car were integrated in the new system. The system is completely made of stainless steel and meets the strictest requirements in terms of sanitary design.

• Pallet conveyors with gear wheel drive for low-maintenance, hygienic operation without residues on the chain
• Transverse shuttles without cable drag; power transmission by busbar without susceptibility to soiling and absolute accurate positioning via laser
• Absolute lift approach positioning for rapid readjustment of high weight differences
