Project
In the first extraction phase, around 1.5 million m³ of gravel will be extracted over a period of 12 to 15 years - in the overall project, this will be around 7 million m³. The expanded gravel plant will enable the efficient processing of 80 to 100 tons of material per hour. The gravel extracted will be used to manufacture the company's own concrete and gravel products - true to the motto: “From the region, for the region.”
Frei Fördertechnik AG was commissioned with the technical implementation of the expansion. It was responsible for the engineering, assembly and commissioning (IBS) as well as the delivery of the central components:
- Turbowasher for effective cleaning of the gravel material
- Integrated crusher for grain sizes >32mm
- Feed pits and conveyor technology for material logistics at the plant
- Screening machines for screen classification, dewatering and extended sand extraction
- Water treatment and wastewater treatment plant for the closed water cycle
- Steel and sheet metal construction for load-bearing structures and cladding
- Electrical control and automation for modern, energy-efficient operation
Many thanks to everyone involved for making this sustainable and future-oriented project possible with their expertise, commitment and excellent cooperation.
This project is an example of regional cycles, technical innovation and responsibility in action.
