State-of-the-art recycling plant for Amrein AG

Frei Fördertechnik AG looks back with pride on the successful completion of a pioneering flagship project: the construction of a state-of-the-art recycling plant for Amrein AG in Rickenbach (LU). The grand opening on 27 June 2025 marked a significant milestone for the Swiss circular economy and set a new standard in the sustainable processing of mineral building materials.

As part of the project, Frei Fördertechnik AG was responsible for the detailed design, the entire steel and sheet metal construction, the conveyor technology from material intake to final storage, and the assembly of the complete plant. The result is a high-performance, technologically advanced recycling solution that combines efficiency, sustainability and future viability.

The inauguration of the plant on 27 June 2025 was celebrated in the presence of guests from the worlds of business, politics and the construction industry. It honoured the close and cooperative partnership between all those involved in the project and exemplifies the potential that arises when modern engineering, sustainable thinking and responsible action come together.
