In order to ensure flawless production of potato chips at Zweifel Chips & Snacks AG, it became necessary to replace a pendulum cup conveyor. Frei Fördertechnik AG was commissioned to engineer and deliver two stainless steel wave edge conveyor belts with cleaning units.

Project
In order to ensure flawless production of potato chips at Zweifel Chips & Snacks AG, it became necessary to replace a pendulum cup conveyor. Frei Fördertechnik AG was commissioned to engineer and deliver two stainless steel corrugated edge conveyor belts with cleaning units.
The corrugated edge conveyor belts, with a length of 8.5 m and an incline of 65°, comply with all aspects of food safety and ensure residue-free cleaning. The material can be cleaned with water. Any residual water on the conveyor belt is then blown off with compressed air.
