Project
Frei Fördertechnik AG supplied a TRWM 3.0 x 7,500 drum washing machine for the new gravel plant of Viegier Beton Mitteland AG in Attiswil. The drum washing machine is used to clean round and broken sand, gravel and grit.
The washing drum with sorting cylinder is made of 20 mm thick sheet steel and lined with 15 mm thick wear-resistant rubber. The individually adjustable conveyor blades and lifting strips are attached to the drum body with wear-resistant screw connections. Discharge blades made of perforated sheet metal screwed into the drum ensure that the dirty water flows back into the drum.
The conveyor blades can be adjusted individually. This allows both the throughput time and the layer height to be adapted to the respective operating conditions. Intensive, internal friction washing is achieved, which is additionally supported by built-in lifting bars. The washing out of dirt and fine particles, as well as wood and organic matter in the gravel mixture, takes place in a counterflow principle.
Special features
- Optimum washing process through the use of a gravel washing drum developed in-house
- With re-sorting cylinder to replace a screen
