Messerli Kieswerk AG, Oberwangen

After 40 years of planning and only 16 months' construction time, the cutting-edge gravel and concrete plant of Messerli Kieswerk AG in Oberwangen was inaugurated in 2013. The new plant replaces two old gravel plants and offers the separate feeding of gravel and moraine material as well as their flawless processing.

Project

Together with the architect and the builder, Frei Fördertechnik AG, as general contractor, was responsible for the entire technical material processing, including wastewater treatment, rust removal and control. The steel and façade workers of Frei Fördertechnik AG were also selected and coordinated.

  • Feed, primary crushing and washing of gravel and moraine material
  • Plant feed belts supported on the roof construction of the treatment plant
  • Generation of pumping sand mixtures through two-way switches with controlled flaps
  • Supplementary process water cycle primarily through storm water storage
  • Space-saving treatment process by lamellar separators
  • Preparation of batch feed system for retrofitting of second batch feed and collection line
