16 tonnes for the perfect wash - After 40 years of reliable operation at Makies AG in Gettnau, the time has come to replace the entire washing drum. Frei Fördertechnik AG was commissioned with the replacement.

Project
The gravel and concrete plant was founded in 1981. It is connected to the public railway network. All cement deliveries, around 70% of wall gravel deliveries and around 60% of processed materials are delivered or removed by rail.
The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The production of gravel, crushed stone and concrete products takes place within a closed water cycle.
In recent years, Frei Fördertechnik AG has already realised various systems for Makies AG, such as screening machines, sand dewatering, sword washing and crushers. In 2023, we delivered a new gravel washing drum and a new cone crusher, which are now doing their job well.
