Project
Kieswerk Oldis AG was founded in 1963 after some shareholders acquired a licence in Haldenstein for the extraction of gravel and sand from the Rhine.
Frei Fördertechnik AG was responsible for the planning, realisation, installation and commissioning of the processing plant as a complete turnkey system.
Primary gravel as well as recycling and excavated material are pre-screened in the primary crusher and prepared for the next steps. Depending on the type of processing, the material is transported to the processing plant via various feeds, where it is either washed or crushed in a second crushing stage for grit processing.
The finished products are then transported to 22 material silos via washing units, screening machines and conveyor belts. The desired products can be removed from the material silos and dosed individually or in the desired compositions using dosing devices and weighing belts. Two wastewater treatment plants in the water and sludge treatment department enable clean and contaminated sludge to be treated separately.
