Project
Grison Zaugg SA operates a large gravel and sand processing plant in Sorens. In order to improve its performance and adapt it to current requirements, a modernisation and expansion project was carried out.
Frei Fördertechnik AG took on the planning, delivery and installation of two modern turbo washers, four high-performance conveyor belts and the expansion of the sand processing facility.
We were also able to install a sludge stacking silo to eliminate the existing bottlenecks with clayey material (sludge basins & chamber filter presses).
This conversion maximised daily productivity, improved environmental efficiency and brought the plant into line with current technical standards in terms of safety and operation.
