The gravel and concrete producer belonging to Jura Holding has heralded a new era in the treatment of aggregates with this new gravel plant in Buchs. The state-of-the-art plant makes Aarekies-Olten AG the leading supplier of sand and gravel in the Aarau region.

Project
As general contractor, Frei Fördertechnik AG took on the complete construction of the plant, including all sheet metal and steel constructions. All in all, approximately 5000 m3 of concrete and 550 tonnes of reinforcing steel were used. Then came the steel construction (340 tonnes) and the installation of the actual systems. After nearly 15 months of construction, production at the new plant began on time.
