Vibrating sorting machine

Vibrating sorting machines are specially designed for separating light and heavy materials according to the principle of density sorting; e.g. for separating harmful substances from sand and gravel, slag, construction waste, contaminated soil, etc.

The eccentric drive causes the water-filled upper box to vibrate harmoniously. The water pulsates in rhythm with the vibrations and performs the lifting work required for sorting.

The feed material moves towards the outlet due to the inclination of the settling floor, the lifting work and the flow of the upper water. At the same time, the lifting action causes the material to be sorted according to density. At the end of the material carrier, the floating or light material (charred wood, shells, etc.) is discharged to the side via a chute located transversely to the direction of transport.

The sinkable material (gravel, quartz, etc.) is discharged to the front via the height-controlled weir. The separated materials are dewatered on suitable equipment (e.g. vibrating chutes). A collection container discharges the barrel material.
