The Sizer can perform up to six classifications in a single machine. Its compact design, low energy consumption and gentle separation process make the Sizer an attractive choice for dry classification.

Thanks to its compact design, low energy consumption and gentle separation process, the Sizer is an ideal machine for dry classification. The system consists of several superimposed screen decks with different inclinations and increasingly finer mesh sizes towards the bottom. While the finer material immediately flows through the coarser meshes of the upper decks, the coarser grains are efficiently screened out of the material flow.

Due to the different inclinations of the screen decks, the mesh sizes can be selected to be unusually large in comparison to conventional flat screens, which prevents the formation of plugged grains and increases throughput and the service life of the screen decks. However, the separation quality is lower due to the compact design.
