Turbowasher
The Turbowasher was specially developed for dissolving heavily contaminated mineral mixtures and conglomerates that could not otherwise be processed economically.
As with the drum washing machine, the bulk material is passed through a water bath in the Turbowasher. However, the cleaning success of the Turbowasher is achieved through a combination of friction and pressure, which is generated by wedging the material between the rotor and the trough.
A rotor, which can be equipped with 16-96 washing tools depending on requirements, conveys the material from the inlet to the outlet. The trough protects itself from wear with a material cushion.
The use of a discharge bucket elevator and the water level in the trough (low, medium or high) determine the design of the machine. The design is therefore dependent on the material.
