Magnetic drum with distribution chute: In the classic overflow mode, the recycled material is evenly distributed by a chute and fed onto the rotating magnetic drum.
Magnetisable particles are retained by the magnetic drum and discharged at the rear, while non-magnetisable particles fall down.
In the lifting mode of operation, the magnetic drum rotates against the flow of the conveyor and is positioned in front of and above the discharge of a conveyor chute.
The magnetic drum lifts magnetisable particles out of the conveyor flow and transports them upwards by means of the rotary movement, where they are discharged behind the highest point.
