Eddy current separators are used in recycling plants to separate non-magnetic, conductive metals such as aluminium or copper from other materials.
By generating a rotating magnetic field, the conductive metals that enter the magnetic field are deflected by the resulting eddy currents and separated from the material flow.
This technology enables the efficient extraction of valuable metals from mixed scrap or waste streams, thereby helping to optimise the recycling process.
