A drum washing machine is used in gravel pits to remove impurities such as clay, silt and organic matter from gravel, sand and other materials.
The drum is rotated by motor-driven impellers, while conveyor blades inside move the material forward. Built-in lifting bars provide additional intensive internal friction washing.
The dirt, fine particles and organic matter such as wood in the gravel mixture are washed out using the counterflow principle, which ensures thorough cleaning of the material.
