Distribution chute

Distribution chutes ensure that the material being conveyed is distributed evenly across the entire width of screening machines, air separators, etc., thereby optimising the screening quality and product separation.

The distribution chute is mounted transversely to the feeding machine. The material is fed in at the inlet side of the distribution chute. Two externally mounted motor vibrators cause the chute housing to vibrate linearly. The special geometry of the chute floor distributes the material flow over the entire length of the chute, ensuring that it is fed across the entire width of the machine.

The transport speed and conveying capacity can be varied by means of adjustable unbalanced weights. The length of the conveyor trough depends on the width of the next machine. Distribution chutes are used when uniform feeding to wide machines is required. The prerequisite for use is free-flowing bulk materials.
