Cone crushers are specialised machines used to crush rock.
The crushing takes place between a movable cone and the fixed crusher housing. The cone moves eccentrically, which enables continuous crushing of the material.
Opening and closing take place simultaneously on opposite sides of the crushing chamber. This is a significant advantage over jaw crushers with alternating working and idle strokes.
Cone crushers are characterised by their very robust construction and high crushing ratio. They are mainly used for the production of fine fractions.
