Complete overhaul of the conveyor pipe for SWISS KRONO

The 8-person service team from Frei Fördertechnik AG was in action at SWISS KRONO in Menznau.

The old conveyor belt was replaced by a new conveyor belt with a continuous length of 870 m and vulcanised on site.

The closed conveyor belt offers a dust-free, safe and efficient solution for transporting wood chips to the production plant.

Tight bends and steep inclines can be optimally negotiated.

All the out-of-use conveyor rollers have also been replaced. In addition, the entire drive and tensioning drum was replaced over a height of 35 metres.
