Treatment tower

Treatment towers are an important part in the treatment of process water and sludge. Their compact design and technical possibilities make space-consuming sludge ponds and elaborate dredging a thing of the past. The dirty water containing flocculant flows via an inverted funnel into the treatment tower. This forcibly directs the flow of waste water downwards. The upflow this generates makes the bonded and thus heavier dirt particles settle in the conical lower part of the treatment tower. The drain valve located there is controlled automatically by a pump and is activated via the sludge needs of the sludge basin. The overflow for the fresh, purified water which accumulates at the top is located on the upper edge of the treatment tower. The fresh water can be directed into either a fresh water basin or a ground basin.
