A pulsator jig is used to separate light material from heavy material according to the principle of density sorting. In the process, an eccentric drive vibrates the upper box filled with water, and the feed material is moved toward the discharge. At the end, the floating or lightweight material on the surface is discharged via a gutter to the side; the heavy or sinking material is discharged forwards via the height-controlled weir.
