Martin Montalta Kies Transport Aushub

The plant is successfully put into operation in spring 2010. The new plant replaces the old one, which is almost 50 years old. Today, aggregates are processed here with cutting-edge technology.

Developer: Martin Montalta Kies Transport Aushub

Place: Ilanz

Project: new gravel plant in Schnaus:

Year of construction: 2010

Project
For this contract, Frei Fördertechnik AG took on the planning, conceptual design, supply, installation and commissioning of all plant components, including the gravel plant control and the connection to the existing concrete plant. The gravel plant was designed by architect Peter Walser as a concrete ensemble and fits harmoniously into today’s environment. At the gravel plant, the round aggregates are produced by an elliptic screening machine and the sand by a double sand trap. The sludge is thickened in a treatment tower and then pressed. The crushed components are produced on a jaw crusher and an impact mill. The concrete plant or the truck loader can be directly supplied with concrete aggregates by means of a discharge belt in the batch feed channel.

Special features

  • Installation in winter under the supervision of our chief technician together with the builder’s staff
  • Underground connection to existing concrete plant
  • Consideration of local craftsmen (electricians, pipe fitters)
