Fortisa AG, Zuchwil - Bakery production

Fortisa AG specializes in the industrial production of buns and, in addition to McDonald’s, supplies many customers in the catering and food industries. In order to be able to continue to produce economically, the entire production was modernized.

Projekt
Frei Fördertechnik AG carried out this order as a general contractor; from planning through construction and production to assembly and commissioning, including the control, which was programmed with Allen Bradley (Rockwell) at the customer's request. Since the new system was partly installed during ongoing production, some stages had to be carried out in short deployments on maintenance days. The local conditions required an installation in a very confined space as well as coordination between the companies involved. The conveyor line runs through several floors and fire protection sections, which had to be separated with fire protection slides, which was also included in the scope of delivery.
